{"id":4011,"date":"2015-12-28T13:17:05","date_gmt":"2015-12-28T21:17:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.atumvirt.com\/?p=4011"},"modified":"2015-12-28T13:17:05","modified_gmt":"2015-12-28T21:17:05","slug":"provisioning-services-xenapp-and-xendesktop-7-7-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/avtempwp.azurewebsites.net\/2015\/12\/provisioning-services-xenapp-and-xendesktop-7-7-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Provisioning Services, XenApp and XenDesktop 7.7 Now Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>XenApp and XenDesktop<\/h1>\n<p>XenApp and XenDesktop 7.7 brings a number of enhancements that have been asked for since the inception of 7.x, including the (re)introduction of zones.\u00a0 It is important to note that they are not identical to zones in 6.5 (IMA) but they will be improved overtime.\u00a0 Another much requested feature introduced is application limits.\u00a0 You can find more information in the <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.citrix.com\/en-us\/xenapp-and-xendesktop\/7-7\/what-is-new.html\">release notes<\/a>.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_qa1_L_21X4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nIn addition to new features, there are a host of fixed issues that will result in a much nicer administrative experience.<\/p>\n<h1>Provisioning Services<\/h1>\n<p>With this release, as well, comes PVS 7.7 with the much anticipated target device in-place upgrade.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In-place upgrade of target device software. Rather than reverse-imaging, you can install a new version of the target device software without having to manually uninstall the previous version.
