Troubleshooting XenApp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During our initial implementation of our pilot project we did not include Edgesight deployment in our scope of work. \u00a0After using the XenDesktop, XenApp solution for some time I decided it was time for some measurable metrics to answer some questions that are key to our pilot. \u00a0Those questions included:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How many concurrent licenses do we need to buy?\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Given a choice, will users choose XenApp or a full desktop?<\/li>\n<li>Which apps are being launched through XenApp?<\/li>\n<li>Are the apps performing as expected?<\/li>\n<li>Are the desktops and servers performing well?<\/li>\n<li>What is the IO cost of using Edgesight?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>After installing and configuring Edgesight with a real-time configuration for the XenApp servers, I checked the results and was pleasantly happy with the results. \u00a0I turned on the real time monitor and immediately saw something i should check. \u00a0Fortunately, there is a &#8216;troubleshoot&#8217; button to the left of the device name in the real time config monitor.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-A0mpIjzR4yo\/UGPWo7yna2I\/AAAAAAAADqs\/oDBpq6JRCR8\/s1600\/capture3.PNG\" imageanchor=\"1\"><br \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-tHZZa8LiXcQ\/UGPWn-0JR_I\/AAAAAAAADqc\/SL0I4msVmqA\/s1600\/Capture.PNG\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"264\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-tHZZa8LiXcQ\/UGPWn-0JR_I\/AAAAAAAADqc\/SL0I4msVmqA\/s320\/Capture.PNG\" width=\"320\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\u00a0The process was quickly identified after clicking the &#8216;troubleshoot&#8217;
